    Good Bye

Oh how i have come to hate the word goodbye
It is so permanent, so final, so over with and done
    It makes me cry
Overwrought with sadness I become undone
    Good bye
A word i can live without in my daily commute
    I would rather try
To not talk, to become silent, to stay mute
    So rather than goodbye
    I will say see ya
    So long
    Take care
    Until next time
    Stay strong
    I am always there

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
