    In a world like this
    You have to think positive
    To experience all the good things in life
    Is your own perogative
    In a world like this
    You have to be strong
    To just be yourself
    Try to get along
    In a world like this
    You have to survive
    To learn to live
    Be more than just alive
    In a world like this
    You may cry many tears
    You have to fulfil your dreams
    Overcome your fears
    In a world like this
    There is war and peace
    But it is more love of our hearts
    We need to release
    In a world like this
    There is a lot of greed
    But there is more to life
    Than just to succeed
    In a world like this
    You have to take a look around
    To open your heart and mind
    To explore
    Everything that there is to be found
    In a world like this

    Its okay. There is an uneven meter, but that only hinders the poem very little. I thought it was pretty good. It has the potential to be fantastic if you fix the meter problem. I suggest writing to a beat in your head. Happy Writing Michelle

    Very Meaningful poem. I will have to read more. There's alot of great poets on writers on this site but some just stick with me more.Maybe it's there passion for living and true love for written. I can't wait to read more of your poems.
