Untouchable

Precious life come back

I live in a mess of confusion

I want it all

I want it all back

Living day by day stuck in the same cycle

The past is present never letting go

I made this rut I hate it, digging deeper and deeper

Six feet under I rest and never getting out

Precious life come back

I live in a mess of confusion

I want it all

I want it all back

She smile down on me I’m trying to touch her beautiful tears

Trying and trying hands and feet bloody and shaking

Making no gain flowers fall down my way a final good-bye

She turn away from me, a final good-bye

Precious life come back

I live in a mess of confusion

I want it all

I want it all back

Falling flowers towards me

A final good-bye

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
