    Unswayed Emotion

    My emotions are mine absolute

I will not let you change them in a dispute

    Because they are
    strong I planted the roots

    My will is free, my
    mind acute

    .. ..

    It will not be your
    decision how I feel

    You cannot show me
    what is real

    Try if you must but
    its your last meal

    To fail to change my
    ideals

    .. ..

    I wont be swayed by
    your futile attempts

    To argue your way
    through my contempt

    No thing you say will
    leave you exempt

    From the wrath of my
    wit, no dreams undreampt

    .. ..

    You’ve already lost
    this act of war

    No chance from the
    start, for your ignored

    Give up while you can
    I'm too hardcore

    But the time this is
    done you'll scream no more

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
