    Unrest

    sleep is not peace
    just nightmares
    theres nothing worse
    my dreams haunt me
    happy thoughts sicken me
    remove the hurt
    wash away the burn
    scorched too deep
    constant throbbing
    beating of a broken drum
    i hear your breaths
    you breathe too easy
    too light and carefree
    do you know
    how you hurt me
    tears release
    waves ensue
    i lie soaking
    listening to you
    weariness conquers
    my mind in full swing
    and the unhappy dreams
    they begin again
    they do not halt
    when i'm awake
    i live a lie
    a dream
    that never come true
