     Without you, I am alone.
    In a crowd,
    if you are not there,
    I am
          alone.

    With you, I am lonely.
    Sitting together,
    worlds apart,
    I am
          lonely.

    Without you, I am alone.
    The sun shines,
    but I am cold,
    I am
          alone.

    With you, I am lonely.
    Unable to touch
    your heart,

          lonely.

    So hard to break down the walls that we put there, to protect us and keep us safe from harm. It's almost as if we keep it there on purpose. This reminds me of many relationships, and people. Very wise write. Peace....

    This is so true pertaining to so many couples, to so many people that are married. Unnecessary distractions loom large to take away what could be, what perhaps was at one time or another. A sad yet truthful, hard hitting write.
