    Treasure

where do I go with ths feeling that tugs at my heart?
a relentless longing where do I start?
Like a magnet to Steel I am drawn to you.
    Friend confidant anchor who knew?
I tell you my soul with no regret
knowing the best  we havent experienced yet
all these years without warning the feelings grew
rueful of my choices from the past
praying that this treasure I found will last

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
