TRAPPED
Staring at the plain white walls, calm and blank
Much of what I want my life to be like
Calm and blank
No Drama No Pain
Instead the pages of my life are filled with
Frustration, Anger, and many painful memories
Of life and it’s reality’s
Surround by people who love me
But, if they only knew the real me
The Monster and Madness
They would scatter fearfully
People would ask questions
Where did the real Heather disappear too?
The girl with the sweet smile and the warm heart
She is trapped
By the burdens and strongholds of Life
She is shackled
By the frustrations and pain of the world around her
Numb and Closed off
Hiding behind a
MASK
Hidden from the world!
This girl she longs to be free
She wants to tear off the Mask
No one can hear her screams
Her pierced heart Bleeds
Bleeds crimson Blood
It stains the white walls that are calm
Her mind struggles Good vs. Evil
Right vs. Wrong
But her questions and pain
Remain deeply scared in the tissues of
Her Heart
Much of what I want my life to be like
Calm and blank
No Drama No Pain
Instead the pages of my life are filled with
Frustration, Anger, and many painful memories
Of life and it’s reality’s
Surround by people who love me
But, if they only knew the real me
The Monster and Madness
They would scatter fearfully
People would ask questions
Where did the real Heather disappear too?
The girl with the sweet smile and the warm heart
She is trapped
By the burdens and strongholds of Life
She is shackled
By the frustrations and pain of the world around her
Numb and Closed off
Hiding behind a
MASK
Hidden from the world!
This girl she longs to be free
She wants to tear off the Mask
No one can hear her screams
Her pierced heart Bleeds
Bleeds crimson Blood
It stains the white walls that are calm
Her mind struggles Good vs. Evil
Right vs. Wrong
But her questions and pain
Remain deeply scared in the tissues of
Her Heart
