    New Fires

He soul dances like wild fire
    Burning with excitement
    Coals of Amber sizzle
    Keeping their blaze mighty
    And strong

He is so cultured by the fires of the world
    His soul jumps with delight
She is a new taste for him
His heart races in anticipation of her
    What will come?

    Their souls mingle in passion
Intellectual love in the silhouette of the stars
    Weather near or far
They meet in the blaze of passionate thought

    His hands in hers
They tango in the midnight blue
Kiss in breaking reds of morning
    Lost in each other
    Completely Lost Together

finding a new love is always fun. nice write

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
