Bleeding Heart of A Daughter
You call yourself a mother
But you never acts like one.
You call me your daughter
But you never treat me like one.
Instead you treat me like an enemy
You shut the door in my face!
Blocking me from your life and your heart
Your suppose to protect me from pain
But instead you cause pain
I have shed many tears for you
But you never wipe them away
You cause them to flow harder and faster
As the tears flow my heart rips
It bleeds crimson blood of pain and anguish
Every new problem new lie new fight
Causes a new wound
Your suppose to be protecting me from a broken heart
But you’re the cause of mine
I long to see the day mom
When all this pain and hurt is reversed to happiness
I long for that day to come when you say I love you
And mean it!
But that day is long over due
Far in the distance
We may never see it
Mom all I have ever wanted
Is your love and respect
But I won’t get it
STOP treating me like an enemy
And Please start treating me like your daughter!
But you never acts like one.
You call me your daughter
But you never treat me like one.
Instead you treat me like an enemy
You shut the door in my face!
Blocking me from your life and your heart
Your suppose to protect me from pain
But instead you cause pain
I have shed many tears for you
But you never wipe them away
You cause them to flow harder and faster
As the tears flow my heart rips
It bleeds crimson blood of pain and anguish
Every new problem new lie new fight
Causes a new wound
Your suppose to be protecting me from a broken heart
But you’re the cause of mine
I long to see the day mom
When all this pain and hurt is reversed to happiness
I long for that day to come when you say I love you
And mean it!
But that day is long over due
Far in the distance
We may never see it
Mom all I have ever wanted
Is your love and respect
But I won’t get it
STOP treating me like an enemy
And Please start treating me like your daughter!
