Tomorrow Will Always Come

Tomorrow Will Always Come

Step forward and never look back
Start the journey; release the pain.
You have found a better love
But our memories will remain.
You must let go of the anchor
And let the wind fill your sails.
The adventure will begin
Because time never fails.
Yes, tomorrow will always come.
For it cares not for our sorrows.
We have only the past and present,
We can't beg, steal or borrow.
And though you leave my arms
You will never leave my heart.
For we share the same soul,
In a universe apart.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
