Faith of The Heart

Faith of The Heart

I have seen the darkest depths
To which a man's soul can fall
I have been a victim
Between the short and the tall.
I have felt the greatest pain
That can pierce through the heart
I have watched my world crumble
And my spirit fall apart.
But I've picked up the pieces
Kept the lessons in my heart
Let go of the anger
And let forgiveness make a start.
I will not be kept down
Or hold onto the past.
And with faith in my heart
There's no sorrow that's too vast.
Whatever life may hand me
I know I need not fear it
For love has touched my soul
With the gift of strength of spirit.

Thank you for this message, it transcends beyond words and it is all that you promised it would be, I just hope that the gift of faith and strength in spirit comes to me too in time, beautifully written and what an encouragement to anyone who has ever been at a low in their life and the new door is blocking the light, you are truly one of God's angels on earth..

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
