TOMORROW, TODAY
4-27-10
Today I'm thinking of Vasiliki,
frightened of Tomorrow.
Tomorrow and every Tomorrow,
until the Tomorrow
that frightens me comes.
That Tomorrow will be the Today
I will be alone.
That Tomorrow will be the Today
my Love will be gone.
No more Tomorrows to look forward to.
Without Love, what will life become.
Merely Tomorrow after Tomorrow
of waiting on my own.
Today I'm thinking of Vasiliki,
frightened of Tomorrow.
Tomorrow and every Tomorrow,
until the Tomorrow
that frightens me comes.
That Tomorrow will be the Today
I will be alone.
That Tomorrow will be the Today
my Love will be gone.
No more Tomorrows to look forward to.
Without Love, what will life become.
Merely Tomorrow after Tomorrow
of waiting on my own.
