    TODAY I KNOW
    I searched my whole life for someone like you,
    at least so i thought,
    and all this time you were lying.
    Today i know what it is to be betrayed
    I thought we had something special
    something to look forward to
    a dream to wake up from each day
    Today i know what it is like to be used
    I felt deep within that you loved me
    but love is for the weak and needy
    for those who seeks to be devoured
    Today I know what it is like to be manipulated
    I wanted you to love me more than anything
    or even just a fraction of the love I have for you
    Now that know that your I so not have
    Today I know what is is i feared
    My world is dark, forlorn and empty
    crying cannot relieve anything I feel
    I feel my very soul was ripped from me
    Today I know what it is to die.
