Poem Commentary

I was challenged to write a poem that was truely me but breaking the boundries of dark and unspeakable dark. I was able to do that by streching the boundries but breaking them. Yet this poem has the right amout of mind frazzle and sorrow. What I liked the most was how the dream scean blended with reality and the sences carried over.

To Live

To Live
Weak solum wind drags it's self across the sky
Empty distance swallows the dark pavement
Alone in the sky time stops to let me remember how I got here
No one cared about, No one noticed, No one loved, No one stopped...ME!!!Falling.falling..falling...
As the pain depletes into releif
The air craddles me like a new born child
The end comes closer.closer..closer...
My eyes caught sight your faces soaked in greef
My heart revives and my sences return
I hear sirens, I feel scared, I see sorrow, I taste the pavement ~
I hear her scream, I smell her perfume, I feel her touch, I taste the blood, I saw the light
It pulled me back to reality were I lay in a puddle of my own blood
Barely conscious on the small rooms tile floor
The cold shap metal tightly gripped in my hand
The blur of people, The stillness of air, The weight of my limbs, The movement of the paramedics, The breath of final words...
I was wrong......I want...........to live
The room turned dark
No longer could I move, No longer could I speak, No longer could I respond, No longer could I breath, No longer could I think,
 No longer.no longer..no longer...
Could I live..............

Nicely done, waasn't distracted by the caps. The meaning was so heart touching. This could be printed in a near death experience book, no problem...Write on...................Tlady.
