     She thinks deep thoughts
    Set in the now of wishes
    Living thru youth an trial
    Pondering events long over
    What was before has made what is today
    All that she can be
    Steppin to Keepin it real
    Knowing what will be will be
    Time standing still as moments of living go by
    Words blowing across the sands of time
    Changing with people changing in rhyme
    She thinks deep thoughts

    This does not come across as a poem, rather, as a list of wishes and hopes that only the writer can relate to; there are too many cliches here that tend to keep me uninterested in what is being said. I understand why you wrote this: all of us have moments of sentimental vibrations, but it does not carry much power or satisfaction to the reader. As a poet, you are much stronger than this piece offers.
