    Time

    Tick Tock
The hands of the clock move so slowly
    when you watch them
and so fast when you cannot
    Tick Tock
    Like cold molasses
    in the dead of winter
    and like lightning
    in the middle of summer
    Tick Tock
A contradiction it will always be
    Tick Tock
It is the same for everyone
whether in California or Kat Man Du
    Tick Tock
There is never enough of it
    when you need it
and always too much of it
    when you don’t
    Tick Tock
One second, One minute, One hour
One day, One week, One month, One year
    Tick Tock
