  • I can say a million words, and you still would never understand

Ticking Time Away

Frustration has finally boiled over,
and behind it,
Anger,Depression and confusion are left,
It's only a matter of time.

Anger it's rising,
you're only making it worse,
like throwing kerosene on a fire,
there isn't a way to contain it.

Depression, yeah it's certainly a daily war
A battlefield between,
What is in my head,
and what is reality.

Confusion, my mind in a jumble,
wondering what I did to deserve it,
My mind grows weary as I fear,
Nothing is ever going to be okay.

It's only a matter of time,
A matter of time before I let go,
A matter of time before I just stop caring,
A matter of time until you've lost me completely

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
