Dear Colt... The sequel
I know you told me not to get myself attached to you,
But you make it so hard,
I know that it might be wrong to say so,
But I’m falling for you,
I wish that I could stop myself,
But the bad thing is,
I can’t seem to stop it from happening.
I’ve tried to build up my walls,
Make them tall and strong and keep my guard up,
Needless to say it isn’t working out so well,
But I can’t lie to you,
I’m ready to fall,
Ready to just give you want you want,
And yes if you asked me to,
I would back off,
Even stay away if that’s what you wanted,
I’m ready to love you,
And love you for a long time,
I want to make you happy,
Possibly the happiest man that ever walked the face of the earth,
And in time,
I hope that you will let me,
You have broken through my walls,
Torn them down,
Destroyed them even,
You’ve succeeded in melting the heart of stone,
And putting a smile back on my face.
