This Won't Hurt
I've come to find this world is of nothing but contradictionI don't understand the mission in life we're supposed to accomplish
It's like the worldwide population are soldiers
In war for this country and at war with ourselves
A young adventureful man who is the sparkle in everyone's eyes
To feel such boredom and hatred and too blind to realize
How much he truly is loved and can barely empathize
I'm sure situations like this there's people who can sympathize
Not knowing what to do with his life anymore
He dares to leave a note for the world to see
No idea on how to take it leaving us on a cliff's edge
It's been his final proof of life for way too long
A couple tries from before in getting him to try and rid this thought
Hopefully he didn't find what I think he still sought
The tears and the nightmares I have still fought
But I pray that this young one is not another that's been caught
It may not hurt you the things you may do or already have done
But it will be another tragedy for the rest of us
I can do nothing about either way this goes or already has gone
But I know God is with you even though I could hardly ever be
