Slip of the Tongue
Once upon a time, long, long ago....A young warrior prince of thieves
Effortlessly executed a heist of the heart of a fair maiden
Love at first sight before she said she never believes
And with such restraint this prince's presence felt forbidden
From afar in a clustered room
The eyes of both sought nothing but one another
Paralyzed in this muted moment she could only assume
That for the rest of her life there would never be another
As the time started passing along
And this new relationship started progressing
She couldnt put into words this feeling so strong
How this gallant spirited gentleman was her blessing
Til this day cats' got her tongue
Fearing what has been built may crumble
If she was to spill the spell that has got her sprung
Over her own thoughts is easy to stumble
Until one night apart from the castle
Among a few of her fellow commoners
After the bottles, something inside her stirred up a hassle
And a slip of the toungue just as our forefathers
Now awaiting the news from he who she adores
To find the result in which her actions has caused
Stunned of this event cursed by the shores
There's no way that this incident could be paused
Only time will tell what this fair maiden and prince have left to say
Has she said too much? She drowns herself in her rain
No visible portals to escape this kingdom of black white and shades of gray So until then she has her peers to keep her sane
