    The world

    This world all around us
    Pushing us to the ground.
     Frightened people shriek about
Crying till they start to shout

Crazy titles of war and vain
     Everyone suffers through the pain
     They say they hate you.
But really love is all they want to do

They love you more than you’ll ever know.
In people never expected this will show.
And this love will begin to grow

you wonder why you life is full of hell
And why that person knocked you down till you fell
And you needed that balance too move on.
But really it wasn’t ever a con

    They said you would die
     So you started to cry
    The next time you went
    Your money was spent.

On all that equipment and tools
And all thy did was treat you as a fool
    You weren’t really sick
The doctor just decided to be a dick

Charge you for something that was never really there.
And he showed everyone he didn’t care.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
