I sit here in the dark room
waiting for him with a face of gloom
i stare out the window through the pain
listening to the clouds let down the rain
you loved me more then anything
 i felt it deep in my heart
you even told me i was your everything
you never expected me to leave
everytime your heart beats your breath heaves
my mind told me that i loved you
yet my heart knew that it wasnt true
I dont really know why i told you a lie
I dont know why i had to make you cry
I was your world and he was mine
 you knew it wouldn't last much longer
 but you were ready to hang on for forever
 i went to him while you cried your river of tears
and battled your fears
you seen us the day when you came home
 me and him in the bedroom all alone
I tried to make an excuse
 and he tried to make a truce
 but we all knew that the truth was set free
