The Recovery Man
I went to jail not being arrested but rescued, listening to something without a mouth was prosperous route i pursued,I'd been throwing bricks along time so it was long overdued,Landing in a place called The Last Call Program,Running all my life bubt now i will nit scram,10 months later recovering well i'll be damn,Relapsing is what i'm perventing, sobriety i'll achieve,On my way to recovery because i surrendered willing to believe,Living one day at a time my addiction has been relieved,Today i'm offering knowledge for the brain,Concern for everyone putting dope in there vein,Lifting burdens off shoulders as if i were a crane,Remembering the days which left a tremendous stain,If you're a suffering addict you can get help,He'd take you somewhere there's motivation & lot of pep,You'd have to be honest & willing to take the very first step,Don't leave before the miracle happens it has began,He's giving what was freely given to help comprehend, who has been through it all The Recovery Man.
