The Push

The Push

Her eyes fill with tears,
at the sound of the waves.
For these last few years,
the pain has been locked inside.

It was the day her sister fell
deep into the sea.
The sea it kept her soul.
She will never be free.

What a horrible way to die.
So cold and all alone.
Floating deeper into sea,
on a sheet of great white foam.

She wishes it was her
who lies beneath the sea.
To see if she could set her
sister free.

But all of this is guilt
of what was kept a hush.
She was the one of who's
hand gave the push!!!

Beautifully written! Nice stry type piece. Very dark and full of wonder and grief write on....

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
