    The Many Mini Mistakes

    The Many Mini Mistakes
    By Darrell “Manny” Santos

    Living too fast
    Loving too hard
    Chasing the past
    Dropping my guard
    Acting a fool
    Running the streets
    Not enough school
    Way too much sweets
    Setting some trends
    Following some fads
    Too picky ‘bout friends
    Too many “my bads”
    Dreaming so crazy
    Dreaming so small
    Sometimes being lazy
    Dreaming no dreams at all
    Not having direction
    Not freeing my soul
    Not using protection
    Not having control
    Having not enough empathy
    Having too much compassion
    Having not enough sympathy
    For those challenged by fashion
    Not coming on strong
    Not waiting it out
    Not staying for long
    Not walking right out
    Not chasing the night life
    Not staying at home
    Not choosing the right wife

An excellent read, even the title. Wow, the joy of being human.

    Nice write!

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
