How Does Love Feel?
How does love feel?
Like the soothing kiss
Of your lovers lips
On your temples to make your migraine headache feel better
How does love feel?
Like the sting of the skin
When the sweat trickles in
As she digs her nails in your back when you bed her
How does love feel?
Like a cold snowy night
Like toes with frostbite
Like the frozen tundra in the middle of nowhere
How does love feel?
Like the warmth of smile
The laugh of a child
Or the softness of a baby's curly neck hair
How does love feel?
Like a cool breeze
That makes the skirt at your knees
Flutter gently as you stroll on the beach hand in hand
How does love feel?
Like the shock and surprise
When you suddenly realize
That the blast from the hydrant does reach where you stand
Tell me, how does love feel?
Like the soothing kiss
Of your lovers lips
On your temples to make your migraine headache feel better
How does love feel?
Like the sting of the skin
When the sweat trickles in
As she digs her nails in your back when you bed her
How does love feel?
Like a cold snowy night
Like toes with frostbite
Like the frozen tundra in the middle of nowhere
How does love feel?
Like the warmth of smile
The laugh of a child
Or the softness of a baby's curly neck hair
How does love feel?
Like a cool breeze
That makes the skirt at your knees
Flutter gently as you stroll on the beach hand in hand
How does love feel?
Like the shock and surprise
When you suddenly realize
That the blast from the hydrant does reach where you stand
Tell me, how does love feel?
