    The Course

I shan’t know if my course was true

Until of course, my course is through

So onward I plod and push and pull

Hoping to save my immortal soul

    A soul, a spirit, a hope, a dream

Toward what we strive remains unseen

Yet still we strive, still we try

The Living of this life is not a lie

    Faith, hope, whatever the truth

Don’t ask, there won’t be proof

Until you finally leave this place

And off you wander into time or space

We want know til we've reach the end. I can relate because I've always wonder what my purpose is. I hope I'll find out what it is.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
