    The Blast pt2: Redemption

Anger and rage have me focused again
having my friends wonder where I have been

to hell and back I embraced it with a smile
walked out of the fire with grace and style

saw myself falling to my disbelief
holding in my anger, strife and grief

I was played for a fool
she made me realize how life is so cruel

so to my sis thanks for trusting in others
and not being there for your own brothers

we both know your little secret
I'm the bigger man who decided to keep it

now Im awake you can stop with the nudge
try to push me again and I won't budge

you've awaken a giant whos been sleeping you see
it's time for the world to see the real me

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
