we met a the community center by way of circumstance
didnt know what to say to her when she gave me a first glance

asked me a question that ultimately made us close
a partnership together benefitting us both

business partners for sure but gonna be much more than that
if she is in trouble then for her I would go to bat

older and wiser she knows what to say
when Im having a complete disaster of a day

she gets me how I don't know
our friendship will last a lifetime and ultimately grow

no matter what the weather Im there for her no doubt
and Im happy to help will never whine complain or pout

to have this special friend I have truely been blessed

wont betray her trust or never let her down
