The Blast pt. 1: The Betrayal

I should have saw it coming knew it right from the start
how could my own flesh and blood break my heart

my little sis put me a position which I dont understand
but whats worse is that she does things that are underhand

    told her things in confidentiality
but heard from her  friends now my trust in her came  back to bite me

we are family and we are supposed to love one another
how can she just blast me on the sly Im her brother

truth be told never revealed none of her secrets
her info I did like a bad computer and deleted

always came real to her whenever we talked
and when she was down we would talk and walk

now I look like an idiot for telling her my biz
from now on Im gonna tell her how it is

no more Im tired and Im through with dismay
the fact that my own sis is never again going to betray

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
