    The Answer’s in the Question

    Stepping past superstitions, criticisms, prejudices and upbringings…
    I hold tight to the Hand of Freedom.
    Prisoners grasp firmly to beliefs of acceptance, beauty, love and greed;
    Oblivious to why they desire them.
    These victims also pull at my mind; ignoring, questioning demanding
    The motivation for my perseverance -
    Assuming that I’ve no faith at all as I continue my hold on Christ -
    “It must be a mindless trance”.
    And though I feel God’s Life rush through me along with
    memories, miracles and promises which bubble from deep within…
    Why do I permit this torture, death vying for God’s victory?
    Jesus, rescue me from my sin!
