    Thawing Out

The ice is slowly melting off my soul
I can feel the warmth like a red hot coal
Didn't think it would take this long
But you were just too strong and wrong
For me, for you, we never had a chance
The music stopped, and so did the dance.

Very nicely put Alanya... Guess we've all got our stories to tell about lost love... Nice work.

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
