TAKING INVENTORY

Poem Commentary

Self-examination, you will be surprised what you will find!

TAKING INVENTORY

IF EVER IT WERE POSSIBLE TO FIND

A LOVE TO COMPLETE YOU BODY AND MIND

THE FOCUS IS THE SUBJECT . . .

YOU FORGOT TO CLEAN OUT YOUR CLOSET

ONCE LOST, YOU LOOK HIGH AND LOW TO FILL A VOID

BUT IN THAT MAD RUSH. . .

YOU STOP TO CLEAN OUT YOUR CLOSET.

AT LAST   . . .    REALITY

THE LOVE IN YOU. . .

 EVERYTHING COLOR-COORDINATED

 FROM WHITE TO STONE

 LOOKING DEEP

 AT LAST . . . A PERSPECTIVE

ALL AGAST ! . . .  A LOST DIAMOND FROM YOUR HEART PENDANT

ALL BECAUSE YOU TOOK THE TIME

TO CLEAN OUT YOUR CLOSET

Quite the gem here! The content is awesome and flows well! Its amazing what we find hidden in the closet from darkness to light! Made me think of an old song about digging up bones! Good write!

i liked this one, thought provoking, I had to read it twice, just to appreciate all that it implies, I like poetry that keeps me guessing and wondering and is not always so obvious..

Thank you ... I like this one too!

To have great poets there must be great audiences too.
