Stages
Stages
By Earl Burnett
Most times I'm happy but sometimes pretend
I know that this life will eventually end
With each turn in our life, we call it a stage
To build on the wisdom we gather with age
Some things to remember if you want to succeed
There's no room for prejudice for lust or for greed
Now we enter this world all equal you know
So don't put up a front, let your true colors show
