    Sparrow's Flight

As the tiny sparrow flies with grace -
    so easy my life passes
    into dreams of reality,
    and notes of unsung songs.

With the drifting of an autumn leaf
    and sleeping summer grasses -
    in melancholy moments,
I sort the rights and wrongs.

In the setting sun of winter days,
    the thought of you trespasses,
into the backroads of my mind -
    forgetting you are gone.

Sounds like some of the ones I have written from the past.

Some of your readers are picky picky. Yes, a few small choices would get this polished to perfection, but it is already a gem.

Very well crafted. You can see the work that was put into this piece. It sang in my mind. (Probably don't need the comma after trespasses.)

Nice poem, I gave you an 8. It had some weaknesses for me in the (of) metaphors in the opening and the closing of the poem. I'm sending the crit.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
