Soul Warrior

Torn and scattered i lay before you

you put me back together yet there are missing pieces

an on going battle still resides

spiritually open for all to confide

a soul warn warrior we all have become

but the war within is never done quick to sucumb quick to fall

but the way we go will shepard us all

a light shines bright to revel us all

we must fight for the ominous call

not knowing were it will lead

it is something to fight for rather than nothing at all

it is a light from whence the darkness falls

we batlle the darkness to rage above all to see with curiostity the light from afar

at  days end we fall torn and scattered

beaten and broken for a just cause

in the end a place to call home

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
