    sleepless nights of a poet

    I sit here
    I can’t sleep
    Thoughts race through my head
    Reach out
    Reach down
    Deep inside
    Grab one
    Hold on to it
    Write it down
Let it unfold in your hands
    It practically writes itself
    Its aching to be uncovered
    To be explained
    To be related to
    To be understood

I would agree with that, when you leap out of bed because you left the pad and pen out of reach, otherwise you won't sleep ... a thought, possibly the greatest you ever had lost, even if only to yourself. Well done

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
