    Sick of Caring

Sleeping with bar wh*res is the brand new you
So sick of your kind, well this time I’m through
Through with caring and hanging on to hope
While you act like a tr*mp, maybe even hooked on dope
So sad to see you slope but it’s your life not mine
My life is too precious, you straight wasted my time
Thought you were different and that you’d always be real
Stupid as* me, you left me with heartache to feel
You’ve had plenty of time to run the streets like a sl*t
Everything you said to me has just broken my trust
I know it wasn’t lust, at least not for me
See “that’s one thing I don’t do, is say things I don’t mean”
But I know you’ve moved on to all the other girls…it’s just a game
Games are for suckers, any real man would say the same
So laugh at my poems and how you made me feel so bad
You said we’d still be friends but LIES were all…you ever had

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.
