See Koolmom I can be deep.
With one small push it was over.
Her eyes looked back at me
With the emptiness I had grown to fear,
Far too fragile.
Trying hard to express no emotion,
I watched and waited,
Seeing the pieces scatter.
This will not end well.
Slowly she rose,
Time seemed to slow.
By my side she saw,
The pieces of her heart.
Only two weeks old,
The passion still fresh.
Unwilling to let go
She went to Meijer for super glue
Nearly fifteen minutes,
No end in sight.
A broken heart
Over a glass of sprite.
I told myself I wouldn't miss her
damn I lied
I just wanted to be happy
damn I tried.
Her eyes looked back at me
With the emptiness I had grown to fear,
Far too fragile.
Trying hard to express no emotion,
I watched and waited,
Seeing the pieces scatter.
This will not end well.
Slowly she rose,
Time seemed to slow.
By my side she saw,
The pieces of her heart.
Only two weeks old,
The passion still fresh.
Unwilling to let go
She went to Meijer for super glue
Nearly fifteen minutes,
No end in sight.
A broken heart
Over a glass of sprite.
I told myself I wouldn't miss her
damn I lied
I just wanted to be happy
damn I tried.
