Remember my name...

  • I am the sand that pours down the hour glass awaiting to know if I'm half empty or half full, i am usurped by the power of time...

Remember my name...

Remember my name... here is my decree...

Will you die to be remembered,
or will you live to be forgotten...
Melancholy lives make for hydrophilic eyes,
remember my name, for when i die, I too shall rise...
Carved in stone, hieroglyphically known, I emerge a symbol,
not of a warrior, not of a king, but of hope, for a better life seldom seen...

Remember my name... hear my plee...

Empires are forged from war not peace,
good and evil cannot coincide, one must be deceased...
But despite the greed, the presumptuous need,
lays a childs heart, whom is destined to take lead,
shadowing the footprints of the nutrients you feed,
guide their actions and remember my name,
because without me your efforts are in vain...

Remember my name...

FAITH...

My last dream...

So many deep hitting truths in this. [Will you die to be remembered, or will you live to be forgotten...] - Sharp line. Wakes up the senses. [good and evil cannot coincide, one must be deceased...] - Perfectly stated. The back and forth of my day to day. The shock hit when you stated the word -faith-. It just made sense. Sometimes regular confidence just isn't enough. It has to aspire beyond the self. You put a skillful touch to your writes. Brilliant.

Thank you... your comments are always held highly because I think you are a true poet, And honestly I have shown people your poetry and they really like it... i saved some to my fav's... but anyway, thank you for all your comments... I do believe the ability comes from God...

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
