    • I am the sand that pours down the hour glass awaiting to know if I'm half empty or half full, i am usurped by the power of time...

    Beware of Cupid...

I have arrived, I have arrived
as an unfamiliar face in a popluar place
engulfed in sounds that surround my narcissistic grace...

They talk, i listen, I move they pay attention,
my crown is invisible, my robe majestic
surreptitious wings, my presence is eletric.

I have arrived, I have arrived
    in the hearts of many...
my name is love, my alias is cupid,
my arrows are designed to pierce all that say love is foolish...

    signed... Cupid

    Beware....

I found this poem kind of fun and light. Loved the rhythm, rhyme, an overall good write. They say love is blind, guess cupid doesn't mind. Write on.....

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
