Rain
The clouds swirl above, colliding in the sky
Blues become grey, as the sky wants to cry.
The air has a smell only a storm can bring
Musical notes only Mother Nature can sing.
The breath of life, blowing about
Sometimes a whisper, sometimes a shout.
The sounds of summer, the sounds of a storm
The sounds of Life in their natural form.
The performance has begun, as the sky opens wide
Down comes the rain, with nothing to hide.
It covers the earth in an invisible sheen
A reflection of life, often unseen.
An artistic portrayal with colors abound
The world upside down, the sky on the ground.
The droplets are alive, as they dance on the glass
Becoming family and friends in the trees and the grass.
Separate or one, its all in the same
The uniqueness collected in the droplet of rain.
A blanket which covers, unbiased around
A natural demand, uniformally surround.
The curtains are drawn, the show comes to an end
The necessity of life from which we depend.
The stillness that follows, a reminder to reflect
Nothing for granted, a force to respect.

The stillness that follows, a reminder to reflect
Nothing for granted, a force to respect.
