    Rachael's Tears

    What could I have said

    what could I have did?

    Were my words to vague?

    Was my hand to cold?

Did I not adore you enough?

Am I not beautiful in your eyes?

    When I said I loved u it

    was not mere word's that

    came from my lip's

it was the way I said it

as I gazed in your eyes...

It was the shiver in my body

as you said the same words to me.

It was the beautiful u that was on

my mind when I first saw morning light.

My heart bleeds not for the loss of u

but for the loss of "Us"....

This was more to me than a fairytale

this was a dream that came true...

My heart is broken but it will heal

my eyes are crying but they will stop

my mind is cloudy but it will clear

my love for you will always be here...

Wow, I can only only assume your wife has passed by looking at your age (if this poem was first written recently. How beautiful of a tribute to her.

Well thanks for the nice words. And to tell you a bit about the poem it was written for my friend Rachael when her boy friend broke up with her and her world was a mess...It helped her heal and got back with her man:) Fabian

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
