Quiet And Strong
I see myself in her
Quiet and strong
She wanted nothing but independence
The desire to belong
The burden I placed upon her
Seemed too much to handle
But because she was quiet and strong
She was able to move on
Some days I think I've lost her
But I know she's nearby
She sends a message once in awhile
And I am ever so grateful
I realize now why she left
As hard as it is to believe
It's because I made her the woman she is
Quiet and strong
Quiet and strong
She wanted nothing but independence
The desire to belong
The burden I placed upon her
Seemed too much to handle
But because she was quiet and strong
She was able to move on
Some days I think I've lost her
But I know she's nearby
She sends a message once in awhile
And I am ever so grateful
I realize now why she left
As hard as it is to believe
It's because I made her the woman she is
Quiet and strong
