    Patient

    Alone in an endless
    Sea of sadness
    Induced by the strain
    Of hundreds of miles
    Between
    Two hearts
    Joined together
    In perfect rithym
    Like the waves
    On a calm shore
    Strained against
    The weight
    Of time
    Each day
    Cuts deeper
    Each hour
    Bruises
    The Flesh
    Of happiness
    Waiting
    With anxious patience
    To be joined again
    With what
    Is lovingly known as
    The air in my lungs
    The blood in my veins
    The warmth of my skin
    The joy in my soul
    But for now
    Im left all alone
    In an endless
    Sea of sadness
    Induced by the strain
    Of hundreds of miles
    Waiting
    With anxious patience
    For you

This is a touching piece of work for those who have long distance loves. Thank you.

i like this. you write very well. i really like the way you ended it.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
