A true heart was broken
From angry words that were spoken
Tears had fallen down strong
They both knew something was wrong

Her senses were quickly breaking down
As her body slumped hard to the ground
She wondered what the hell to do now
Because she just can't figure out how

To fix whats been shattered
Or even explain whats the matter
To the man that means the world
To this terrified girl

He wipes away her streaming tears
And tries to calm her raging fears
But she has been hurt bad before
And really can't handle anymore

Still he looks so confused
At what all he should do
To take away all her pain
And not leave a stain

On a previously perfect spotless love
That the two of them were so proud of
They had yet seen the wrath of the terrible rain
And worried to death if things were the same

He picks her up off the cold, hard floor
He says that's what he'll be there for
But doubt and fear creep into his mind
The first time he has ever loved her kind

Scared of his feelings and love so strong
He's deathly afraid of what could go wrong
She trembles in fear of him walking out
His commitment to her she starts to doubt

He realizes her hesitation and he turns back
She builds up a wall and starts to attack
He reaches for her and grabs her hands
Together they must make a stand

Against all the odds and pain and strife
Together as one for the rest of their life
He looks in her eyes and he promises her
To never abandon or walk out on her

She stares back intently drowning in fear
He kisses her cheeks and wipes all her tears
She melts in his arms, as he is her life
And she is his love, his heart, his wife
