    a pray and a story all in one.

    pathway home.

     I walk a path through darkness
    my heart it quakes with fear
    I cry out to the heavens
    oh God please stay near.

    the path it is through dense woods I can barely see my way
    as bleak as the night time, even in the day.
    the wind it roars around me
    the chill cuts to the bone
    I fear that which is uncertain, lord please help me to stay strong

    I've walked this path a fore-night, but still I do not know
    if I walk the right way, or which way I should go

    lord give me courage, to learn to face my fears
    give me your awesome peace, and wisdom for all my years
    and even in the winter when the ground is a cold stone
     lord I pray your hand will guide me until I finally make it home.
