No matter how I try
By now my shell should be armour, yet I still stand naked for all to see. For I can not seem to harden my heart. No matter how much destruction it has taken. To become bitter as those who tear me open. Would only make me as cold as they. First you stab and violently thrash at me with your tounge. Then almost getting pleasure by watching me bleed. Yet then you walk away, while I lay there, my heart ripped from my very chest. You couldn't even be kind enough to offer me needle and thread. No matter how I try
