    • Okay guys. I don't use this account anymore for those who even care. I've created a new OP called Bombthatasian. I'm going to transfer all my poems over. Just letting you guys know, so I'm not accused of plagiarism. I'll be deleting this account very shortly.

    Nine Eleven

I shiver as I watch your family from my window
You look up and wave bye
I smile and shout take care!
    You leave for your flight
I watch the cab's taillights disappear on the horizon
I turn away and turn on the T.V.
I had no idea that 3 hours from now
You'd be gone from my life
the friendship we had years to build
I watch the news as every other person in the world does as well
    I watch as everything crumbles
I watch as your flight crashes into the twin towers
I was only seven that day
When I lost my best friend Kevin
on the broken day of Nine Eleven

I also lost three friends who were on one of the planes. I was living in NYC at the time and it was a day of loss for so many of us your poem shows that loss very well.

awh im sorry for your lost. it kinda brings tears to my eyes to see that. im sorry.

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
